Hi everyone and happy holidays to all

I have a new client, who is an Amazon seller. He has a Canadian corporation and this is his first year of business. He sells in many countries like Canada, USA, UK, Italy, France, Sweden, Germany, Sweden, and Spain. I am familiar with sales tax rules in Canada but want to understand collection & reporting in other countries mentioned above. Please share your experiences & insights about this business.

Thank you!

I would start looking here:

> **[Tax treaties - Canada.ca](https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/programs/tax-policy/tax-treaties.html)**
>
> The status of International Tax Treaty Negotiations.

After reading all the tax treaties you need to, make sure you look up all VAT tax requirements in each country. Remember they are called a few different names too (GST, VAT, PST, etc.)
