# Adjustment on Notional Assessment

Hi,

May someone kindly advice on the procedure to adjust a CRA notional Assessment (ReFile not possible),

Back in the days with CanTax, we had to manually enter the CRA amount then file a T1 ADJ, would like to know if its the same procedure in TaxCycle.

Good morning Yuki:

A notional assessment means no return has been filed so you cannot do an adjustment either. Just prepare and file the return.

In our office, we filed a T2 return where CRA had done a notional assessment. At first, it was not accepted through efile. Then we phoned the CRA Efile help desk. They reset something and we could efile the T2 return.  
I don’t know if this is the same for T1 returns.
